Day 01,

On arrival - transfer to the hotel transfer to your hotel nearby in Negombo. (Transfer Time: Approx.30 Mins) Overnight Goldi Sands, Negombo

Day 02,Sigiriya

Leave early after morning to Sigiriya by coach. In the evening you will be briefed on the tour and also the cycling proceedings with a bike check and a trial ride will be provided to the rock fortress Sigiriya. Ascend the rock fortress and ride back to the hotel after descending. (Days Ride – Approximately 30Kms in total) Overnight Kassapa Lions Rock, Sigiriya

Day 03,Minneriya

Start the cycling day at 7 am and proceed on the days cycling through the jungles observing the serene beauty of Sri Lanka. The area is known as the cultural triangle and consists of many man made reservoirs built during the ancient eras or the kings kingdoms. You will cycle and visit the biggest 5 reservoirs in the surrounding and also enjoy a picnic lunch at a suitable location.There after cycle to the Minneriya National Park and enjoy an evening Safari where you can witness large elephant gatherings between the months of May – September as the Minneriya reservoir fills up due to the rains. During the rest of the season you will either visit the Kaudulla National park or the Hurulu eco Park. There after transfer to the Hotel (Days’ Ride – 60 – 70 Km on interior flat terrain) Overnight Kassapa Lions Rock, Sigiriya

Day 04,Dambulla

Leave early morning after breakfast to the cave temples of Dambulla and take a guided tour. (You will be provided with white rap arounds and sarongs to visit the temples while you are in your cycling attire) Start the days’ ride from the temple to the Spice Gardens in Matale which you will reach in time for lunch. After lunch you have the option of riding to Kandy or transferring by coach depending on the group feedback. (Days’ Ride – 80- 85Kms to Kandy) Overnight Ozo, Kandy

Day 05,Adam’s Peak

In the morning leave for the temple of tooth and thereafter proceed to Maskeliya to a small roadside guesthouse located at the base of Adam’s Peak the Guesthouse offers very simple accommodation. All rooms have attached bath with hot and cold water. After dinner begin the climb of the sacred mountain ‘Adams Peak’. Climb through the night in order to reach the summit by dawn for a once in life time sunrise…….. if not cloudy. (The pilgrim season for Adams peak is December to May. During this time thousands of pilgrims climb to the summit every night. The pathway is lit and the experience is a cultural treat. During the rest of the year the path way is not lit and there are no pilgrims, however the beauty, serenity and adventure of Adam’s Peak remain. We use battery operated torches for the climb.) Day 07,Horton Plains

Early morning leave for Hortain plains on a short trek and enjoy the sightings of a touch of Sri Lanka’s Wild life. Here you have the opportunity to witness some wonderful birdlife and also the wild Samba Deer. Horton Plains - is located on a high windswept saddle at about 7,000 ft (2134 mtrs) elevation. The plains are an expanse of misty grassland with scraggy trees and ice-cold rivulets. World’s End is considered to be the finest view in all of Sri Lanka. The awesome escarpment drops vertically for about 4,000 feet, hence its name was given. Plains are also famous for the greenery and the cold climate. Proceed to the hotel and enjoy the day at leisure Overnight Orient Hotel, Bandarawela.

Day 08,Tissamaharama

After an early breakfast transfer to Ella by vehicle. Thereafter you will cycle to Tissamaharama. The journey is about 90 Km approx and is on a descend for most of the journey. Well, you can cycle as much as you want to and get transferred by vehicle for the rest of the journey. Note : This is a downhill route for cycling which commences at around 1900 metres above sea level and ends at around 10 meters above sea level. Overnight The Safari, Tissamaharama

Day 09,Yala

Optional early morning safari at Yala National Park. Thereafter proceed to Colombo Via Galle (Transfer Time : Approx. 4.5 Hrs) P.M. visit the Galle Fort and the Martin Wickramasunghe Folk Museum. Overnight Ozo Colombo

Day 10,Spend the day at leisure.

In the evening take a city tour of Colombo by World War 1 and 2 jeeps, which have been refurbished and used.
