Tucked away in the city centre is the Trans Asia Hotel which is the capital’s leading city resort. The hotel was designed with this thought and a resort was created within the city by taking advantage of the largest grounds facing the beautiful lake. The Architects designed the hotel using traditional Sri Lankan material including granite from the Kurunegala mountain’s and red cabook stone for the exterior – giving the hotel its unique character, look and feel. Executive Floor Rooms - Designed for the comfort and connectivity of the modern-day business traveler, our Executive Floor Rooms on the 6th and 7th Floor offer guests a choice of Twin, Double or Triple. Guests can avail a special express check-in facility and are offered key card access to their rooms. They are also entitled to complimentary breakfast, a complimentary tea and coffee service throughout the day, cocktails during the Happy Hour (5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) complemented by bite size snacks every evening and use of the exclusive Executive Club Lounge
Garden Junior Suites - Guests get a taste of the outdoors without having to leave their rooms in our Garden Junior Suites, on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. They have a spacious bedroom, a living room, and uniquely landscaped Japanese garden style balconies which overlook the Beira Lake.
Royal suite - Designed by internationally acclaimed French interior designer, John Michel Fragnay, and inaugurated in March 2004 by the then Miss World, Rosanna Davison, our Royal Suite offers guests plenty of privacy and indulgent pampering. Comprising separate living and dining rooms, a private bar, kitchenette and 2 luxury bedrooms, facilities include a home entertainment system with a plasma TV in the master bedroom and a 54” TV in the living room a Jacuzzi and flat screen TV in the en-suite bathroom of the master bedroom. Guests are entitled to the use of the exclusive Executive Club Lounge with its panoramic view of the city and water-front.
